Sometimes age brings the onset of age-related illnesses. Alzheimer’s disease and dementia are a few issues that retirees may unfortunately have to deal with. At The Cypress of Charlotte, we are specially equipped to handle these conditions. What is memory care?
Memory care caters to the individual needs of seniors with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other related disorders. Unlike assisted living programs, memory care programs provide 24-hour supervised care as well as an on-call doctor in order to meet the needs of Members. In addition to meals, housekeeping, laundry service, transportation, exercise and social experiences, The Cypress offers specific activities designed to nurture those with Alzheimer’s and dementia at the Stewart Health Center on campus.
