The Charlotte Museum of History shares the Charlotte region’s history through the stories of its people and places. The museum is home to Mecklenburg County’s oldest home and the last remaining structure from Charlotte’s Revolutionary history, the 1774 Alexander Rock House. Visitors can tour the historic homesite and enjoy history exhibits inside the modern museum building.
